I was first introduced to the breed 14 years ago when I met my husband, whose wire “Wilma” came as part of the package. I was smitten and it wasn’t too long before we bought another to keep her company. At the present time we have three, the youngest of which we bred ourselves. I decided to have a go at showing her (something which I’d always wanted to do), and have been entering shows now for a couple of years.

I am passionate about promoting the breed and in getting more owners involved with the association. For the past two years I’ve volunteered to be on the Discover Dogs stand at Crufts and throughly enjoyed it. I also stepped in to help the association by producing the artwork for the last yearbook, a task which I am more than happy to repeat for this coming year.

By profession I am a Graphic Designer. I worked at the Shop Direct (Littlewoods) head office for 20 years as a designer/art director, and now work at a design agency in Birmingham designing for print and digital projects. I believe that my skills and experience in this area could help the association move forward into the future.
