I would just like to congratulate you on your website, in a very short space of time, I've learnt such a lot. .....
Colin Shaw and his wife were so so kind and helpful, introducing me to the site and pointing
me in the direction of getting my own wire pup
I must also thank Beryl Kay she's been to such a lot of trouble , delving in the archives for information regarding my mums dogs etc.......she bred showed and judged wires in the 50s 60s and 70s, her affix was  Ritelsa.
This is why I've decided to get a wirehaired fox terrier, as I was very much brought up with them as a child. I remember them being so much fun with tons of character.
Because of the HELPFULNESS and KINDNESS, I've joined WFTA, I cant wait to get my puppy and enjoy many years with him, and I know there is so much help for me........just a click away!!!
And I've got my badge...........albeit   50 plus years old!!!!!!!!!
MANY MANY THANKS
A Russell-smith. [ mrs. ]

What a wonderful site I so enjoyed my time reading the information and looking through the pictures.
As a child ( long time ago ) my Aunt had a wirehaired fox terrier and I was his official dog walker hence
we became great friends and I have never forgotten the many happy times I spent with him. I would truly like
to own such a dog now but we have a cat and I don't know if the two would go together. This site will have a
place in my favourites and will be well used.

Many Thanks

Mrs. Susan Frudd.

We have housed Wire Fox terriers for more years than we'd care to remember - Firstly re-housing a young dog from an elderly gentleman locally who physically was unable to cope, this led to our love of the character, nature and enterprising 'skills' of the breed, after 10 enjoyable and fun packed years he passed on typically after 'robbing' a sweet tin which we never thought a dog could get into in a million years!
We then sought a Wire rescue and met Beryl Kay who gave us the 3rd degree before allowing us to have Harry a 19mth old dog! 16 happy years later Harry sadly passed on and were back again badgering Beryl to help us find a suitable mischievous pet to keep us busy (and fit).
This time we were passed on to the wonderful Elaine Baldwin from Tickhill, Nr Doncaster who found Danny, a 6 year old rescue dog to be the most suitable candidate. We met, walked and found Danny to be a lovely little character and will shortly be re-homing what we feel will be the perfect dog for us.
Our heartfelt thanks to both Beryl & Elaine for the uncompromising nature of their insight into obtaining the right home for the right dog and their care in assuring this is done correctly and for nothing but the right reasons for both parties.
We are so looking forward to our future with Danny and although he'll never replace Harry we know it'll be in the best interests of both of us and Danny to enjoy each others company for many years to come.
Thanks once again for all your help and assistance to get the best for all concerned.
