Judges will be accepted onto the judging lists provided that they can satisfy The Wire Fox Terrier Association Judges Sub Committee that the following criteria have been met.

Inclusion into any category of the Judges Lists below will be at the discretion of the Judges Sub-Committee.

To have been approved by The Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed and have completed their first appointment. To have the support of the WFTA.

For persons who fulfil all the requirements of the A3 list and who have been assessed in accordance with Kennel Club requirements and accepted by them for inclusion on the A2 list and have the support of the WFTA.

To have a minimum of 7 years judging experience in wire fox terriers and have the support of the WFTA.

A minimum of seven years activity in the breed. (Activity being defined as owning including preparing, trimming, exhibiting and handling in breed classes at Open & Championship Shows etc.,)

To have judged 1 Breed Club Open Show.

To have judged a minimum of 22 classes of Wire Fox Terriers with a minimum of 64 dogs seen in total.

To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 wire fox terriers when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).

To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.

To have attended a seminar given by a KC accredited Trainer on Conformation and movement.

To have attended a Conformation & Movement "Hands-on Assessment" conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.

To have attended at least one Wire Fox Terrier seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.

To have stewarded for at least 12 shows.

A minimum of 7 years experience in any one breed, to include 5 years in this breed and have the support of the WFTA.

To have judged Wire Fox Terriers at one Breed Club Show.

To have judged a minimum of 22 classes of Wire Fox Terriers with a minimum of 64 dogs seen in total.

To have awarded CC’s in at least 1 other breed (preferably from the terrier group.)

To have bred or owned a minimum of 3 dogs of any breed when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).

To have attended at least one Wire Fox Terrier judging seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.

To have stewarded for at least 12 shows.

To have a minimum of 6 years judging experience in wire fox terriers and have the support of the WFTA.

To have judged 15 dogs of this breed.

To have attended one Wire Fox Terrier hands-on Seminar and passed an assessment if applicable.
